US Still Has Choices With Regard To Russia Sanctions: CNBC

A comprehensive trade embargo and barring Russia’s access to international waterways are two options the US might pursue in response to Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, according to US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo, who spoke to CNBC on Monday.

Prohibitions on nickel, uranium, and titanium, as well as Russian corporations’ crypto holdings, are among the alternatives still on the table, according to CNBC reporter Kayla Tausche, who cited an interview with Adeyemo in a tweet.
