3 military soldiers were taken to Accra’s 37 Military Hospital after being involved in a gunfight with inhabitants of Buabula, a neighborhood of Bawku in the Upper East Region.
Many are claimed to be badly injured, and seven others are presumed dead as a result of the crossfire on Wednesday morning.
The reason of the tragedy is unknown, although many believe it was sparked by the killing of a military commander during recent unrest in the unstable area.

As a result, the army allegedly assaulted the town Wednesday morning and burnt down many houses.
