President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been praised by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa for flying commercial to Dubai.

The north Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has long chastised the president for using expensive, lavish private planes for most of his visits overseas, despite the fact that the country is in dire financial straits.

“We must sincerely applaud Prez Akufo-Addo for flying commercial on Emirates to Dubai last night, and avoiding his favourite ostentatious charters which most of us have condemned. By this refreshing new conduct, Prez Akufo-Addo has saved us GHS3.3million. Hope this continues.”
