The 2023 Toyota Tundra enters the new model year with a new SX Package that provides a refreshed look without a hefty price tag. The 2023 Tundra lineup has something for everyone, with SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, and 1794 grades available.

It competes with trucks like the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500 thanks to its tech-filled interior and optional V6 hybrid powerplant.

The addition of the Capstone premium trim level further enhanced to the attractiveness, and there’s even more options for 2023.

The Tundra SR5 now comes with the SX Package for the new model year. The already commanding styling is accentuated by 18-inch Dark Gray Metallic wheels and body-colored trim.

The SX Package removes the Tundra door badging, while the 4×4 model badging is blacked out, in keeping with the streamlined, minimalist aesthetic.

As previously stated, the new SX Package is only available on Tundra SR5 models equipped with 4×2 or 4×4.

The style-enhancing option is available on double cab variants with the 6.4-foot bed and CrewMax vehicles with the 5.5-foot bed, according to Toyota.

Because the Tundra is virtually a new vehicle for the 2023 model year, little else has changed.

The pickup truck features two engines, both 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 mills, however the Tundra Hybrid variant has the maximum power.

The i-Force Max hybrid option has 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, which rivals diesel power.

Even yet, the base engine is plenty potent, with 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.

The electrically assisted vehicle has an EPA rating of up to 22 mpg on the combined test, which is impressive.

Regardless of the driven wheels or engine option, all versions have a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic gearbox. To remind you, the Tundra can pull up to 12,000 pounds.

Beyond its tough exterior, the Tundra is loaded with the most advanced active and passive safety systems.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 comes standard on all models, and includes features such as road sign assist, radar-guided cruise control, lane keep assist, and a pre-collision system.

Toyota’s Rear Seat Reminder has been added to the 2023 model.

Technologically speaking, base models have an eight-inch touchscreen (mid-spec and top trim levels get a 14-inch), which now includes standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility due to the new Toyota Audio Multimedia system.
